Thank You

I have had the last 4 days to return home to Castle Rock, CO. In my time home I got to see my Mother and her beautiful comforting smile. I got to spend time with my sister Shay and her daughter Kadence. I was allowed the pleasure of seeing my dear friends Karissa Baker and her husband Robert. I hung out with my best friend Aaron Luckenbach. And I had a reunion with my entire family, except my brother who was performing at a concert with his band. I ended my vacation by going to my old High School and visiting with my friend/ mentor Mr. Campbell. While I was visiting everyone this weekend I began to appreciate my family and my home. I have told people that I hate Colorado on more than one occasion and truth of the matter is... I DO!

But I miss the people who live here. I miss all my friends from CYT, and high school. I miss my mother and stepfather and my father. I miss my siblings and nieces and nephews. I miss my peers and everyone else I didn't mention.

I wanted to say thank you for letting this vacation back home have a huge impact on my life. I needed this vacation more than anyone knows. Its 6:16 pm here in CO and I am already packed. I am just waiting for my dad to come pick me up and take me to the airport. I am grateful to have had the pleasure of coming home and seeing all of you.

I pray for the Lord to help me appreciate my life and never take things for granted, I'm not saying I'd like to be perfect cuz that is never going to happen. I'd just like to be a better person.
